Income documents
W-2 forms from every employer, 1099 forms (NEC, MISC, INT, DIV, R, B), and records of any other income such as alimony, jury duty pay, or gambling winnings.
Deduction documents
Mortgage interest (Form 1098), property tax records, charitable contribution receipts, medical expense records over 7.5% of AGI, and student loan interest (1098-E).
